Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy covers this website and the Rodarion application at https://app.rodarion.com. We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Controller

Cubera Solutions AG, General-Wille-Strasse 96, 8706 Feldmeilen, Switzerland. Contact: hello@rodarion.com.

Our representative in the EU under Art. 27 GDPR is VGS Datenschutzpartner GmbH, Am Kaiserkai 69, 20457 Hamburg, Germany, info@datenschutzpartner.eu.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties. The web server keeps access logs for security purposes.

Your account

When you sign up, we store your name, e-mail address and company to verify your address and run your account. An unverified sign-up is deleted after 24 hours. To log you in securely, the app also stores your password (only as a hash), your two-factor settings, your API tokens and the apps you connect. It uses only the cookies it needs to keep you logged in.

Trials created by agents

A trial contains no personal data until you claim it. For abuse protection we store a one-way hash of the IP address that created it. Unclaimed trials and all their content are deleted when they expire.

Content you store

Your company decides what it stores in Rodarion, such as texts, comments, screenshots and the users it invites. For this content we act as a processor on your company's behalf. If your company connects a machine translation provider or an AI app, Rodarion sends the texts concerned to that provider on your company's instruction, and the provider's own terms apply.

Purposes and legal bases

We use personal data to provide the service (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to secure it, protect it against abuse and keep it running (legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Where your data goes

The application, its database, files and backups are hosted in Switzerland, and so are our server logs. Service providers who host or operate the service for us receive data only as far as they need it. E-mails are sent through an e-mail delivery service in the USA, which receives your e-mail address, your name and the content of the e-mail. For this transfer we rely on the EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the Data Privacy Framework. If you buy a paid plan, our reseller Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom) processes your payment and billing data as merchant of record and independent controller, under its own privacy notice; we receive the subscription status and the invoice data we need for your account.

How long we keep it

We keep account data and content as long as the account exists. When your company's account is closed, we delete its data; copies in backups disappear as the backups rotate, after two years at the latest. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. Records we must keep by law, such as accounting records, are kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal data and have it corrected or deleted. Where the GDPR applies, you can also restrict or object to processing and receive your data in a portable format. Write to hello@rodarion.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority in your country.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
