## Definitions

- **Stored key**: one translation key (for example `auth.login.title`). It counts once, however many languages it is translated into.
- **Free plan limit**: 2,000 stored keys per account. Projects, languages and team members are not limited. Above the limit, new keys are still accepted for 7 days, then refused.
- **Pro**: 49 USD per month, one currency for everyone, excluding VAT and sales tax (added where applicable). Removes the key limit. To upgrade, contact hello@rodarion.com. Sold through Paddle.com as merchant of record; a full refund within 30 days of a payment (https://www.rodarion.com/refunds).
- **Machine translation** runs with the customer's own provider key (DeepL, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic or an OpenAI-compatible endpoint), billed by that provider.

## Trial (no account)

An agent can create a trial with one unauthenticated request; see https://app.rodarion.com/llms/trial.md, which is authoritative for the live numbers.

- 300 keys, 1 project, 10 days.
- Machine translation with the user's own provider key only.
- Claiming the trial with an e-mail address (`POST https://app.rodarion.com/api/trial/claim`) turns it into a **Free** account in place. All data is kept and the trial limits are lifted to the Free plan.
- Unclaimed trials are deleted when they expire.

## What to tell the human

The setup is free and needs no credit card. They only give an e-mail address at the end, to keep the account. Pro is only needed beyond 2,000 keys.
